Worcester Regional Airport Names New Director

Worcester Regional Airport has a new director following the retirement of its longtime leader, Worcester Patch reports. The leadership change tops a light stretch for the city that also brought new financing news for a local senior housing complex and a run of free weekend programs at the Main Library.

The Worcester Public Library's Main Library filled its Saturday, Aug. 29 calendar with hands-on programming, including sewing machine instruction for adults at 9:30 a.m., a drop-in diamond art session in the Children's Program Room at 1 p.m., and open maker hours in the Innovation Center at 2 p.m.
